1 hour from Bordeaux and 10 minutes from the city centre of Angoulême, the Moulin de La Courade (1641), called "le petit Elysée Charentais" and listed as an Historic Monument, preserves on a single site all traces of the industrial life of Charente.

Its workers in longère type properties, its old paper dryers, the imposing patronal château, its 19th century English-style park and the canal which leads peacefully the Boëme river to the heart of the old paper mill, make it a remarkable site for the organization of private receptions or public cultural events.
